The score for Lugi Lo Cascio’s La Citt\u00e0 Ideale<\/strong> was lovingly recorded at\u00a0 Space Eko in London at the beginning of June\u00a0 and mixed on the gorgeous SSL 4000 G \u00a0at Digital Records in Rome.<\/p>\n

The final dubbing sessions will happen during the next two weeks and the BiBi Film\/ Rai Cinema production\u00a0 will be in the theatres in October.<\/p>\n

I’ve been working on this score for the past six months, a longer than usual period as I’ve been involved with the production since its early writing stages, working very closely with the director and the editor Desideria Rayner, composing sketches that followed different drafts of the script, so that a lot of the material already existed at least in some embryonic form when the film was shot in October and November\u00a0 2011.<\/p>\n

La musica per La Citt\u00e0 Ideale<\/strong> e’ stata registrata allo studio Space Eko a Londra all’inizio di giugno\u00a0 e mixata sulla splendida SSL 4000 G alla Digital Records a Roma.<\/p>\n

Il missaggio finale avverra’ durante le prossime due settimane e il film, prodotto dalla BiBi Film e Rai Cinema, sara’ nelle sale ad ottobre.<\/p>\n

Ho lavorato da gennaio su questa colonna sonora, un periodo piu’ lungo del normale in quanto ho seguito la produzione dalla fase iniziale di scrittura, lavorando con il regista Luigi Lo Cascio e la montatrice Desideria Rayner, realizzando schizzi musicali che seguivano progressivamente lo sviluppo della sceneggiatura, cosi’ che molto del materiale esisteva gia’ in versione embrionale quando il film e’ stato girato tra l’ ottobre e il novembre del 2011.<\/p>\n
